I’ve fallen behind on my Faithbox reviews! I started the August review and then never posted so I have 2 reviews in one post!
When I get home from a week vacation I’m always happy to receive our mail that was held. There is something about “snail mail” that gets me excited! Granted most are bills and advertisements but so often there is something fun. This time my Faithbox was in the pile and it was heavy!
And look what came along with this box: Lysa Terkeurst’s new book Uninvited. This book was on my reading list so I cannot wait to dive in. All proceeds are to go to support various Christian non-profits all over the world.
Next are these awesome cards by Thoughtful Cards. With the age of technology I really miss the hand written note- writing and receiving. I think I’ll try to start writing a few more snail mail notes to those that are special in my life.
The last 2 items from the August box are Steamm Espresso-which I haven’t tried yet but am interested in. Every shot that is purchased helps provide a polio immunization to a child oversees. And The Stitch, from Speak Your Silence. This organization helps with one-on-one counseling for children in the US that have been affected by child sexual abuse.
On to the September box that arrived last week.
The theme for this month is Hustle.
First up is a journal from Denik. Portions of sales from Denik products go to building schools and the artist.
Next up is Woodchuck USA and Krochet Kids International.
Woodchuck is a Buy one, Plant one. They plant a tree for everyone bought. They have many cute ideas for gifts at their online site.
Also, included is a $25 online store credit to Krochet Kids who equips people with skills, education and resources. A few months back I received a Krochet Kids hat in one of my boxes that my oldest immediately claimed:)
They have a variety of cute items for the whole family online.
I also received a sample pack of Smarty Pants vitamins. These I have known about because I have bought them for the boys for the past year or so. I also don’t have a picture because they were eaten right away 😉
This goodness below will be used up quite soon:)
Not only will I get to drink some yummy coffee but I can enjoy Tenth Avenue North’s song “What You Want” with a free download! Double Bonus!
And lastly, this little poster card will be very helpful since I’m a visual learner and doer.
This card is a great way to remember to hustle and actually do your goals and dreams. Write down your goals and cross them off each day. Keeping your dreams and goals in front of you at all times is the key to success!!!
Both boxes, as in every box, includes the Everyday Faith guide with scriptures, quotes and reflection space for each day of the month. Below I have listed all the companies that have contributed in these past 2 boxes.
