Starting off week 3 with doubts running through my mind. Am I doing the right thing? Am I feeding my body the things it needs? Why can’t I lose 30lbs in a week? You know, typical “been doing this thing for 2 weeks and want the weight that took 20yrs to put on-off!”
I switched things up a bit today. I had my shake for breakfast and dinner and then had a “real” meal lunch. I’m going to see how I feel throughout the day doing it this way for the week. Ended the night feeling blah…just wanted to go to bed and start again next morning….
Ok so I screwed up today and had 1/2 mac and cheese…but it was organic? It was just sitting there and there wasn’t enough for kid number 1 when he got home from his class so I’d have to make a new batch and kid number 2 didn’t want anymore sooooo into my tummy it went. I wanted to feel guilty about it but nope it was so good..and I don’t even like mac and cheese?!!? Oh well, the rest of the day went as planned with some ribs and veggies for dinner.
Cleanse day number 3 for me. Yep-still do not like these cleanse days. Didn’t like it so much I had 2 small pieces of pizza. What in the world?! Yesterday a little mac and cheese and today pizza? ugh! Just keeping it real and that’s hard to type out because I wanted it to be perfect all the way through my 30 days. The rest of the day went well. I drank lots of water and kept busy with errands to end my night.
Okay, the next few days are going to be hard…Traveling for baseball tournaments. I had my shake for breakfast and for lunch. Dinner I was selective and tried for the best options I saw. I also brought along bars, whey thins and Isadelights since we were at the ball park all day long. I think I did pretty well considering the day we had.
Rain delays and 2 tired crabby boys who don’t enough the game of baseball made for a hard day! I did have my shake for breakfast but forgot my vitamins back at the hotel. I had an Isadelight between games and finally ended up going back to our hotel with my younger two half way through the day. (our hotel was 30 minutes away so that was a huge inconvenience). Once there they wanted to order pizza so I ended up having 2 slices and the sad part? It wasn’t even good!!
Ok so this weekend I thought I had planned out well but it seems once you get off it all kind of fizzles. Water intake was really low this weekend. I did step on the scale when I got home because I kind of freaked myself out that I did so horrible this weekend but actually dropped 2 lbs. I’m realize that most of that could be water weight since I was low on my water intake this weekend but I will see tomorrow what I end up at:)
Week 3 is done and I am so glad. Part of me is just done following. I love shakes but think I’m “shaked” out. With 21 days behind me this should be a habit right? Ummm not sure about that:)
Not a week I’m proud of in the way of following the program but still ended up with a 2.2lb loss, which is better than last week. Not sure how I lost so much with all the “cheating” I did but I’ll take it:)
