I have finished my fourth week and the 30 day challenge.
Finally! Below is a short recap of that last week and a half.
I’m a little nervous heading into my last week and the end of the challenge. I’m preparing for vacation and I’m trying to make my meals involving my shakes and Isagenix snacks. Today went fine. I followed the program and felt good at the end of the night.
Day 23 started off really well….and then 3PM came along and I got hungry. I’m finding that with the 2 shakes for breakfast and lunch by 3 I get hungry and cheat. Usually with protein…something I can chew. The day ended with a protein cheat but I’m finding I’m okay with that as long as it’s not sugary or full of carbs.
So….I’m getting tired of the challenge 😉 The past few days I’ve noticed a trend. I really like my shakes in the morning and if I’m one the go during lunch I can deal with another shake BUT if I’m home I have a tendency to want something more.
Phew! I finished up the 30 days and really wanted to say I feel awesome…. I’m going to stick with this…. it’s a lifestyle and maybe for some it is but I don’t think it’s for me. I did lose weight, even when I “cheated” on the system but after 30 days I don’t feel the energy that some described (could be because I cheated). I know I can go on with the maintenance phase but I think I’ll just use up my product and be done. I was really hoping to find something I liked and would stick with but I don’t think this is it. I may change my mind but for now I’m moving on to another challenge (more on that below). As for final results I’m happy the scale went in the right direction.

Now for a new challenge! Am I the only one that loves the accountability of challenges?!
I signed up for a new challenge-a 90 day Ketodiet Summer/Autumn Challenge.
I have followed Martina for a while now and have made some of her recipes. They are so good. Her challenges are free with prizes awarded. Go and check out the challenges.
The challenge I’m doing started August 1, but due to us being on vacation, I’m starting a week later on August 9- Today. You can start anytime. They have a private Facebook page and on Instagram you can get awesome ideas for food and inspiration.
I’ve also been reading up on hormones through some different blogs and the more I read the more I want to learn. One blog that I’ve read and have actually tried a few of her programs/read her books in the past and succeeded was Maria’s approach at mariamindbodyhealth.com. My hormones are out of balance and I need to get them back in line;) I lost weight and felt awesome so I’m not sure why I felt the need to try other ways (more expensive ways). Seriously, there is so much information out there.
I’ll be tracking my progress on my “Time for me Tuesday” like I did the with Isa-challenge and on my Instagram account. And I’ll be keeping it real once again….here we go!
